San Miniato is located in the heart of Tuscany, halfway between Pisa, Florence, Livorno, Siena and Lucca: it stands in a strategic point to explore all the region. You can reach Florence in 40 minutes by train: you directly arrive to the central station of Santa Maria Novella, ready to start your visit to the Duomo (with the Brunelleschi’s Cupola), Ponte Vecchio, Michelangelo’s David; Uffizi’s, the Central Market (where you can taste the famous Lampredotto), all in the city center. With the new tramline you can easily reach Amerigo Vespucci Airport without having to rent a car.

It only takes 40 minutes to go from San Miniato to Pisa, and for this journey we again recommend public transport: by train you can easily get to the city centre, and in a few minutes… there you are! Admiring Miracles Square, Pisa Leaning Tower, and Lungarni’s.
